    We have this flower growing in the wild in the Philippines where I came from. They grow in dry soil and could stand hot temperatures. In our native dialect we call it “bangbangsit” which means odorous. The smell is not bad, it is just slightly pungent. Here in the US I guess the one they have is a hybrid because they are in pastel shades and it does not smell as bad.
