Photography : black & blue dragonfly

Brothers & sisters…, I am sure this little black & blue creature is a member of dragonfly family. Look at the wings, the body form, the head, it is a dragonfly, only this one is small & slim. Because it is so small, I had difficulty in getting a good shot from a distance. Eventhough finally I managed to get some shots, but it wasn’t easy at all.

It is a damsel, surely from the family of the calopteryx, but my book on dragonflies it is only from one of France and Europe.
damsels are small with a thin body and dragonflies bigger.
Well done this is not easy to get them.
Have a nice end of day

Thank you very much Sophie, I rarely see it, especially the black & blue one. I was so excited when I saw it, unfortunately I couldn’t get close enough for better shots. Once again, thanks.
