Brothers & sisters…., burung ini termasuk dalam keluarga merpati, dinamakan Nicobar Pigeon karena asal nya dari kepulauan Nicobar. Keberadaan nya sudah langka karena banyak diburu untuk dikonsumsi dagingnya. Karena itu burung ini termasuk burung yang dilindungi. Burung ini berukuran besar, hampir sebesar ayam.
