Travel Photographs – Cheonggyecheon River, Seoul

One interesting travel destination you don’t want to miss when your are visiting Seoul is Cheonggyecheon river. This river is located just a few hundred meters from Gwanghwamun Square which is also close to Gyeongbokgung Palace. The river was originally just a common small river that runs through the city of Seoul. It had been transformed into a very nice and beautiful place.

Check out my photographs I took in November of 2019:

The entrance if we are arriving from Gyeongbokgung Palace

A small waterfall at the very begining of the river sides walk

The water in this river is so clear that you can see many small fish swimming around.

Along the way there are Disney characters placed in the middle of the river. Kids would definitely love to see them.

Fall or Spring time for me is the best time to visit Seoul, the air temperature is just perfect for sight seeing. Winter is probably okay, but it is definitely freezing to walk around and summer is just too hot.

If you haven’t been there and planning to visit Seoul, Cheonggyecheon river is one place I recommend you to put on your list.
